All good things come to those who wait…
Every year, when the time is right, the Williamson family opens their cherry and apricot orchards to the public and allows folks to come out to pick tree-ripened fruit.
 U-Pick Update: April 28, 2026 To help our fruit followers get a better mental image of how far along our fruit is we will use these growth stage development charts for the apricots and cherries. We have marked their current stages for both types of fruit with a pink circle. Right now our apricots are starting to size up, and starting to phase out of the early green color, and get a rusty color blush, this is a trait of the Robada variety. The cherries are currently going through a color change from green to yellow, which means the they are changing phases from building their foundations to filling out the flesh of the fruit.   |
U-Pick will be here before you know it!
While, it’s too early to really know how big of a crop of cherries or apricots we will get this year, we do know that we have some loss from frost damage. We will do our best to keep our followers updated on what’s happening in the orchards as we get closer to harvest.
Until the fruit gets more mature its hard to predict the exact dates of when U-PICK CHERRIES & APRICOTS will start. Mother nature may still have a few more tricks up her sleeve! Historically, our U-Pick orchards typically bear fruit by late June through mid-July. As always, we will happily share more definitive information as we get closer to harvest – so stay tuned!
