As our valley grows so does the need for kindness!

After seeing reports in the news on how many of the local homeless shelters and food banks are really hurting right now, the Williamson family and staff decided to collect non-perishable food and personal-care items in lieu of tasting fees during the month of March.

We are calling this promotion “Cultivar Kindness” because we want to encourage people to “grow” kindness in our community. In fact, we specifically chose the Valley Women & Children Shelter, a ministry of the Boise Rescue Mission, because it’s located right here in Canyon County! Valley Shelter is the only emergency shelter for women and children in the Nampa and Western Treasure Valley area. With 66 available beds, their shelter for homeless women and children offers a safe, clean place to sleep, in addition to clothing, meals, and case management.

Guests visiting Williamson Vineyard’s tasting room during the month of March can enjoy one free wine sample* for every non-perishable food or personal-care item they bring in!
*Free samples will be capped at 5 per person.

So come out to the tasting room and sip on delicious wine for a great cause. Just don’t forget to bring your donation!

What can I bring in as a donation?

Non-Perishable Food

  • Any Canned Goods
  • Especially items that would work in a sack lunch (i.e. granola bars, fruit cups, etc.)

Personal-Care/Hygiene Items
(The shelter accepts products for females and males, as some of the young men that come in with their mother need products too. )

  • Hair brushes (The shelter goes through these very fast!)
  • Hotel sample shampoo, conditioner, body wash and bar soap
  • Tooth brushes and paste (Please no mouth wash with alcohol.)

Save The Bees!

The Williamson family has farmed in this valley for 4 generations and have relied on our native pollinators for the health and success of our orchards and vineyards. Help us help Pollinator Partnership in their mission to promote the health of pollinators (not just Honey Bees) through conservation, education and research.

Donate at least $1 to our Save The Bees program and receive an extra wine sample.
*Promotion is valid only with the purchase of 5 wine samples for $5.

For the month of July, we are  offering our guests a way to contribute to Alzheimer’s Association to help them further their hard work in research, prevention and care in the struggle against this horrible disease.

Like so many today the Williamson family has experienced the difficulty of caring for a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Our family feels strongly about helping those with this horrendous disease and their families. Help us help Alzheimer’s Association in their mission to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Receive an additional wine sample with a donation of $1 or more. 100% of your donation goes to Alzheimer’s Association.

The Pollinators Thank You!

We started out the month of March by asking our guests if they would help us help the pollinators. Our family farm has been working in the Sunnyslope area for four generations. We know how important pollinators of every kind are, not just for our crops, but for all plant life. We are happy and proud to announce that with your help, we have raised $106.00 dollars to donate to Pollinator Partnership. In addition to scientific research, the Pollinator Partnership also educates people in how to conserve and support pollinators. These donations came mostly in the form of $1.00 increments, so that tells us that many of our guests care for the pollinators and the ecosystems that they require to flourish.

If you would like further information about this important cause, we’ve added links for National Pollinator Week, Ecoregional Planting Guides, and NAPPC (North American Pollinator Protection Campaign), as well as to Pollinator Partnership themselves.

Receive an additional sample of our newly released Nectar with a donation of $1 or more.
